I am committing to drink a different beer every day for 100 days, and document my findings. (And life is too short to drink cheap beer) Thanks, Claudia Disney for my new profile picture!

Bluegras Billionaire

Bluegrass Billionaire, by the Clown Shoes Brewery. This is a heavy one. English style barley wine, aged in bourbon barrels. Definitely tastes like bourbon, very warm and fruity. Clown Shoes is one unusual brewery, they seems to have fun. Definitely worth checking out their website and all the label artwork, if nothing else. They also have fun stories on the label: "English Style Barleywine Ale - Aged In Bourbon Barrels. The third installation of Billionaire features Bourbon instead of Cognac. The luxurious English Barleywine malt profile remains unchanged. Our GM, Matt Smith, in his eagerness "borrowed" the Clown Shoes Copter, flying to a secret lawn and mansion in KY, where he believed the barrels to be stashed. Haha! Sorry Matt, the final aging happened in a diamond mind deep in Africa." I have been sipping this beer for an hour now, I just read on the label that it has 12.5% ABV, no wonder I am starting to act like a clown...
