Day 87 Mountain Climbing
This is a direction pointer I found on the ground on the summit track to Mt Pirongia in the Waikato. I have climbed Mt Pirongia, Mt Te Aroha, Mt Karioi (Raglan), Mt Maungatautari, and walked Lakes Waikaremoana and Tarawera and the Tongariro Crossing, as well as conquering the Hakarimata Steps (Ngaruawahia), Pokemokemoke Bush, The Pinnacles in the Coromandel, and Sunrise Hut in the Ruahines. I would like to do some more of the Great Walks in NZ in the next few years. When I get older I want to climb Mt Everest and walk all of Te Araroa. I like climbing the hard bits, because its usually fun - especially when it is steep and there are chains or ladders to climb. I summited my first mountain when I was 7.
