I will gather photos and experiences to create a lasting memory of what it's like to be 11 years old in Hamilton New Zealand, and all the things I love about my life in this part of the world.

Day 30 Space

Today I went to the Hamilton Observatory. The most interesting fact about space I learnt was that if you took a teaspoon full of the middle of the sun's core and brought it somehow back to earth, it is so hot that you could cook a chicken from 150kms away! I got to see saturn through a big telescope. It looked like a small marble with rings around it. You can google the International Space Station (ISS) tracker because I think it is cool to watch and it is my favourite thing orbiting the earth. I'd like to be an astronaut because I think it would be fun to float around in space. At the Te Awamutu Space Centre recently I got to use the Virtual Reality headset to explore inside the ISS.
