Colours work different,
Down south and through central.
Brown fields unforgiven,
Crash against arrogant pines.
Whatever pastel shade
Is their Truth,
But irrigated paddocks pronounce
Their greenest to all.
This was inspired by a drive to Queenstown through central Otago, New Zealand. Where the colours are something to behold, and seem to be on their own kick, independent, and just doin' their own thing. cjG
