On the 9th May this year I had to make the challenging decision to bid farewell to my furry 4-legged soulmate. She was an enthusiastic, bouncy, full of life Labrador who had an inoperable tumour in her head. She taught me to BE in the moment, to SEE the beautiful in the ordinary and to value everything life has to offer. She was a legend of a Labrador and I miss her. Trying to find my way through the grief and create the beautiful in my every day again is my challenge during these 100 days.

Day 14

Another day at The Shed done and dusted. Was feeling a tad tired and heartsore this evening so waited at Queens Wharf for the sun to set before heading home. I'd quite forgotten about the new artwork that's been gifted to the city and which now sits at the end of Queens Wharf. It's called The Lighthouse, and is just that .... a house filled with light AND a ginormous polished stainless steel sculpture of Captain James Cook. It's a house that you can look into and see through. It's rather dazzling and comes alive at night! Will post more photos of it tomorrow.
